I explained I was a Tata Steel Metallurgist and had an extensive knowledge of Steel, Cast Iron and Corrosion and was very concerned about Jaguar discs and longevity.

16 posts · Joined 2017. #1 · Jun 21, 2017. About 1 out of every 10 times that I start my F Pace, the sound quality is impacted by a strange crackling noise. It's consistent across every mode of music and is fixed only after turning off the car (and waiting at least 5 minutes before restarting). The issue is occurring more frequently.
First, I love my F pace. That said, I have a problem with the passenger side of the windshield. Looking through it from the driver's side, the windshield is wavy. The appearance is as if you were looking through running water or perhaps through an antique, 120 year old window.
Battery dead. Picked up my 2019 R Sport 2.5 and after one week the battery was dead and I needed to jump the car. Brought to the dealer and they updated the gateway module software. They told me they believe this fixed it but because this was the second 2019 2.5 that they have serviced with this problem they decided to contact Jaguar.
