Goto: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2\players then rightclick 'config_mp' and run with notepad, when the notepad window has popped up hit Ctrl+F and type: 'fullscreen' it then should appear as r_fullscreen "0" change the '0' to a '1' and you should be all fine! I hoped this helped.
There is no multilayer splitscreen in the new mw2. My wife and I enjoyed playing together on vanguard and she was really looking forward to playing the new game together. Completely disappointed they left it out. Here's the major bullshit. You can still pay splitscreen but only in a private match.
